Wash the dried apricots you have bought with plenty of water overnight and soak them in warm water, let them sit in water until the next day.
The next morning, remove from the water and rinse again.

Take the apricots in a pot and fill them with water so that it does not cover too much. Cook a little on medium heat with the lid of the pot closed.
When the apricots have a soft consistency, add the sugar.
