Raisin compote is one of the old Turkish traditions. Although it is not done as often in our kitchens now, it is not a surprise that we occasionally see it on our table after meals. Compliments of raisins, which are mostly used on Ramadan tables, are a very delicious type of beverage. The raisins in it sweeten our mouth.

First, the seeds of the grapes are removed and the cleaned raisins are kept in water for 10 minutes.
Then the juice of the raisins kept in water is leaked and the raisins are placed in the pot.

Add sugar

After the grapes are placed in a pot, add 1400 ml. water and 1 tea glass of sugar are added.
In this way, the raisin compote is expected to boil for 15 minutes.

Served cold dish

When the grapes become soft, it means that the raisin has the consistency of compote. Now the bottom of the fire is put out.
The compote of raisins is kept at room temperature for a while and then cooled, then kept in the refrigerator until it cools well. After cooling, it is placed in bowls and served cold.
